Leon M. Morton an educator and counselor
who taught at Catalina High School for more than 30 years, died Saturday
(October 22, 2005). He was 79.
Son of Leo M. Morton and Lillian Gertrude Webb of Tonawanda, N.Y., he was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Lee Tansill of Washington, DC., and is survived by his sister, Lillian of Amherst, NY and his beloved Golden Retriever, Bear. He was known for his marvelous spirit and love for life. He accepted anything that came his way. For his service to his fellow veterans, to education, and to his friends and family, we honor Mr. Morton's life. We who have been touched by his wisdom, his energy, and his tireless devotion to others, will miss him -forever treasuring his generosity, his humor and his contribution to our lives.
