My Story - Pamela (O'Neil) Patecell

I am currently running a Bed and Breakfast Inn, in Prescott Az. My husband and I and one of our 3 sons, helped us totally restore a 117 yr. old Victorian Home, and add on a Carriage House, with 3 apts. We also do weddings here, and special events. Our B&B has won awards, and recently featured in "Country Victorian Magazine".

I was a make-up artist/trainer/acct. coordinator for Elizabeth Arden, in charge of the Phoenix and Tucson markets for 10 years. We moved to Phx. right after graduation, with a job situation, and lived there for 28 years. We've been in Prescott for the last 4 years.

We have been married for 33 years, and Daryl was a Catalina Alumni from 1963. We have 3 boys, ages 32,28,23. We have 3 grandaughters, and 2 grandsons, ages 13,9,6,9mo., and newborn. I can tell you, the grandkids are more fun!!

I have kept up my singing thru the years, and in 1985, cut an christian contempory album, where I wrote 3 of the songs, and wrote lyrics to another. I currently sing with the Scottsdale Sweet Adelines, which is an international championship chorus, and sing with a barbershop quartet here in town called, "Worth Waiting 4". We do alot of singing for special events around town, and restaurants hire us alot. It is alot of fun, and a very 'portable' group, in that, we don't need any instrumentation, or equipment wherever we go.

We hope to semi-retire fairly soon, and do some traveling. We are quite tied down with the B&B. If you're up this way, please come by, I'd love to see you!!! The name is: Dolls and Roses B&B, 109 N. Pleasant St. Prescott AZ. 86301 (520) 776-9291.
