Summer of 1968 and Summer of 1969 worked Arizona Daily Star as reporter. Began University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in September 1968, graduated with BA in history in May 1972. Very active in anti-war and community activities while in college. Worked as staff for McGovern campaign in Philadelphia in 1972.

Moved to New York City late 1972. Entered New York University Law School September 1973. Graduated May 1976. Active in National Lawyers Guild labor law project and New York City chapter throughout law school and thereafter. Worked Center for Constitutional Rights Summer 1974 on prisoners class action lawsuit.

Children: Andrew, Jacob

From Fall 1974 through April 1979 worked as law clerk and then associate at labor and civil rights law firm, Eisner, Levy Steele and Bellman (New York City).
In May 1979 began working in migrant farmworker law at Farmworker Project of Camden Regional Legal Services first in southern New Jersey and then Pennsylvania.

General Counsel since 1982 Friends of Farmworkers, Inc. in Pennsylvania. Represent independent unions of Mexican mushroom workers, handle federal class action employment litigation.
